Lacrosse season is drawing near and Revelstoke Minor Lacrosse officials will be at Cooper’s Foods from 12:30-5:30 pm on Sunday to sign up kids eager to play Canada’s national game.
Wayne Gretzky, Paul Coffey and other hockey greats all played lacrosse when they weren’t on the ice. They found it a great way to have fun and keep their edge.
The season runs from mid-April until the end of June and dryland clinics will begin March 17 at Mount Begbie Elementary School until hockey is done for the year at the Forum.
If you haven’t registered before you will need to bring your birth certificate and BC medical insurance card when you go to sign up. Registration forms are also available at the Community Centre. Registration is free and will continue until March 28.
