How well do you think you’d do competing in the Canadian Freeskiing Championships?
Revelstoke Mountain Resort has been given two more entry spots into the Canadian Freeskiing Championships qualifier to give away to Revelstoke locals. And that means you can actually measure yourself against the best of the best.
“You’ve got until Sunday to send in your best photos, videos and a write-up about what makes you a stellar contender for this amazing competition,” said RNR Marketing Manager Ashley Tait in a news release issued today. “Do you regularly slay Kamikaze? Do you huck 25 footers in your sleep? Can you throw yourself down any terrain on the mountain with style and ease? Tell us why you should get one of these coveted spots and you could get your chance to use your home-court advantage against the world’s best freeskiers.”
In her news release Tait issued the following guidelines:
“Create a Facebook page for yourself telling us why you should be in the comp, post the link to the Revelstoke Mountain Resort Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/RevelstokeMTN) so that people can check it out, and then get as many fans as you can! We’ll be picking the winners based on fan support, awesome photos, mind-boggling videos, and your persuasive bio. Post the link to your page on the RMR Facebook group and tell the people why they should vote for you! Please note that it’s up to you to pay the entrance fee, and you have to be 18 or over to enter the competition. The qualifier filled up in 9 minutes, but this is your extra chance.”
The Canadian Freeskiing Championships at Revelstoke Mountain Resort will showcase some of RMR’s most spectacular terrain including high alpine bowls, chutes, cliffs and gladed features that will push even the most veteran freeskiers to their limit. The competition takes place from Jan. 6-10.
