Mitts for Kids — you can help, too

Kirstin Larson, Jim Holdener and Kerrie Lentini pose with one of the piggy banks Carol Sakamoto has put out for the Mitts for Kids Program. "Will you donate coins to buy mitts, scarves and hats for Revelstoke families in need?" she asks. These folks jumped in with $5. You can help, too. "The Thrift Shop has some mitts for just $2 and the Piggy Banks and Christmas Bags are found in stores near you," Sakamoto says. "This campaign will continue for the winter." You can also take a donation to the Food Bank or call Sakamoto at 250-837-4396 for delivery. David F. Rooney photo
