Big bucks from the CBT for big Nordic Ski Club plans

Grateful members of the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club Board Kevin Bollefer (left) Karen Bray and Keith McNab were exceptionally happy to receive a cheque for $75,000 from Columbia Basin Trust director Loni Parker on Monday afternoon. The club has great plans for the money. It will be used to help build a permanent, year-round cabin at the base of Mount Macpherson as well as an expanded trail system. The club recently received, thanks in part to backing from the City, $125,000 in Economic Opportunity Fund money for the project. David F. Rooney photo
