Revelstoke Museum celebrated 50 great years

The Revelstoke Museum & Archives celebrated 50 years of making the past meaningful and relevant to the present on Friday.

In truth, the anniversary has been going on all year but Marilee Plandon said that with the year quickly waning, Curator Cathy English and the board of directors thought a party at the start of the holiday season would be a good way to mark the anniversary.

The museum plays an active role in the community and its archives are well used by researchers from near and far. It has also created some remarkable exhibitions over the years. If you’ve never visited the Museum and Archives you’re missing a key part of Revelstoke’s community life and spirit.
