The president of the Elks of Canada, Duane Romuld of Brooks, Alta., will be in Revelstoke to meet the members of local Elks Lodge No. 453 next Tuesday.
Members of Revelstoke’s Elks Lodge and their affiliate, the Royal Purple, have long been active in assisting children, seniors and others in the community. Their Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children has contributed more than $15 million to assist children.
