Junior Grizzlies take silver in Novice Tournament

In a fast-paced but heart-breaking game, the Novice Junior Grizzlies lost the Novice Tournament championship game to Kelowna by a score of 5-2 on Sunday.

Kelowna clearly dominated the first one and half periods keeping most of the action at the Junior Grizzlies’ end of the rink. It was a tough loss but the kids had a great time and played some darned good hockey. And they did win silver.

There were 12 teams entered in the Novice Tournament that ran on Saturday and Sunday at The Forum.
