Mirror, mirror on the wall, whose is the most excellent business in town?
That’s what the Chamber of Commerce is hoping its members can tell them as it prepares for the Business Excellence Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 24.
There are excellence awards in 11 categories: food service, family-friendly business, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing, retail, entrepreneurship, home-based business, environmentalism, community support, Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year.
Nominations close on Oct. 13 .
In other news the Chamber is now using social media such as Facebook (Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce) and Twitter (RevyChamber) to allow it to keep up to date on events and information as well as network with other Chamber members.
It is also asking its members to consider joining its Board of Directors, which will be elected at its General Members Meeting in November.
