Volunteers sorted through hundreds, maybe even thousands, of bottles and cans donated to the Shotokan Karate Club for it's bottle drive last Thursday. Sensei Chic Sharp said the club holds three bottle drives a year to help pay for its activities including its annual Christmas-in-March event, a $1,000 scholarship and to defray the cost of sending a team to the Shotokan World Championships.
