Local golfers win big in tournament action

Sharon Ottenbreit and Lynn Tanner of Revelstoke won $100 each with the overall low net score of 60 in the Two-Lady Event at the Revelstoke Golf Course.

The overall low gross was won by Lori Moger and Katrina Lenoury of Spallumcheen with a score of 78.

Gary Channel and Gary Fryklind of the Revelstoke Golf Course had the overall low gross and the overall low net among the men who completed in the club’s 2009 Seniors’ Tournament.

Scores sent to The Revelstoke Current by the club’s Pamela Franks showed that Channel had a 76 while Fryklind had a 67. The runner-up for low gross was Jeff Trotter of Revelstoke with a 77 while the low-net runner-up was Roger LaFontaine of Kelowna with a score of 67.
