Rob Palumbo (left) was one of the many Revelstokians who came down to the Royal Bank at Mackenzie and First Street West to meet Canadian Olympian Anne-Marie Lefrancois. The two-time Canadian alpine skiing champion and member of the team that went to the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, brought the Olympic Torch to Revelstoke as part of a provincial tour. Palumbo was thrilled to meet an Olympian and even more excited to hold the torch. "This is really something," he said. "You don't get to do this every day." David F. Rooney photo
