Tell your Revelstoke story at Homecoming

Everyone has a story to tell and past and present residents of Revelstoke are invited to tell their favourite story at this weekend’s Homecoming.

Personal historian Gillian Hewitt of LifeTimes Legacies will be capturing stories about Revelstoke’s past. Personal stories make history come alive and your memories of a special event – your school, your workplace, the home you lived in, that big fish, your mountain adventure – will be a welcome addition to our history.  In a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, Hewitt will record your story, and it will be preserved for the archives of the Revelstoke Museum.

Drop in to the Museum at 315 West First Street on Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and share your piece of Revelstoke history. Stories will also be recorded during the South Country Reunion at the United Church Hall on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There is no charge for this event.
