Baking up some fun

Sheryl Wolgram, Alvina Charest, Gerti Smith, Marlene Pelttari and Helen Grace share a laugh as they pose for a photo to promote their new cookbook, A Legacy of Country Dining, that the Revelstoke Museum & Archives commissioned to coincide with the 2009 Homecoming celebration this week. The book features recipes from residents who lived outside of the city limits as far south as Arrowhead. The book is being launched at the museum on Saturday at 10 a.m. Lucy Bank’s coffee cakes and Gwyn Battersby’s rhubarb muffins were great. David F. Rooney photo
