The Visual Arts Centre’s four galleries are full of fantastic works of art at very, very affordable prices for its annual Gifts from the Gallery Christmas art sale that opens this Friday at 6 pm.

All of the works are by local artists and are priced to be within reach of just about every budget. I’m a sucker for this sale every year and there are certain objects I’m hungry to possess — especially a couple of David Walker’s beautiful ceramics — so I’ll get there as early as possible in order to ensure I can get acquire them.

I strongly suggest you do the same!

There are hundreds of ceramics, paintings, photographs wood carvings, wooden bowls and other objects for sale. And when all is said and done please help the Revelstoke Visual Arts Society order new flooring for the galleries in 2013 by purchasing a square foot for just $10. Bring cash to buy cards and decorations from the tree in support of the Food Bank.

The Gifts from the Gallery sale begins Friday, December 7, at 6 pm.

The gallery will be open everyday from Saturday, December 8, to Thursday December 13 between 12 noon and 4 pm.
